Very enlightening how she describes those moods she gets in like drunken, very sad and child-like. This is my ds, he goes from rages to slap-happy to babyish, with bits of normalacy thrown in, but he's never been able to verbalize how these moods feel! I wonder is it happening more often to older kids or just getting more attention and more older kids getting diagnosed? Either way, it is great insight for dealing with younger kids!

Her symptoms are much closer to the Leroy girls than to what my two daughters have experienced.

Did she have OCD?

--certainly mentioned some of the other Ps issues: age regression, angry episodes, etc. --but the OCD is not primary, may not even be present.

Makes me wonder if this may be some type of second-cousin illness to Ps. --from all accounts posted she has had very positive treatment effects, thankfully--and from the name posting perhaps they are in NY?

If anyone contacts Ruby and her mother Sherri, please ask them if the daughter Ruby has ever (or recently) been checked for HYPER-THYROIDISM. Her bulging eyes look like "exopthalmia" to me (a "sign" of over-active thyroid gland.)
