Dan Dr in Wisconsin or Illinois

Anyone know of a good DAN doc that is in WI or IL? One that excepts insurance? We've been to Usman in Naperville, Dr Brown in Franklin WI.

Wish I did! Even the DAN! web site only lists two in Illinois, and the second one in Gurnee doesn't appear to be practicing any longer, so far as I can find out. But I don't think he accepted insurance, either; so few of them appear to.

I think our DAN sees them as more of experts than they are and wants to hear another opinion. I got the impression that these 2 doctors would not act as primary, but only to give advice to our DAN so that our insurance would cover it.

We went to dr Usman for two years. I've been to the hyperbarics center as well. Neither of them accept insurance. We now see dr brown in Franklin Wisconsin. He does not accept insurance either. Under my plan they are considered non-participating so almost nothing gets paid for.

Our DAN just suggested that we go there for their opinion and our DAN would order stuff/do what they suggested so our insurance would cover it. Only problem is that our DAN is 3 hours west. Franklin is 3 hours east for us. We are looking for someone closer too.
