Natural Treatment Stories?

I am interested in hearing any stories from those who may have switched to natural treatments. I think there were one or two?

 

The yeast is really starting to get to dd9. I feel like I need to get her off the abx. She has a yeast infection right now and has inappropriate laughter and a weird disrespectful edge to her. In the past I'd think she had strep, but this time I'm leaning towards the yeast. I think she is in a holding pattern now with her current meds. No real improvement for a while now. I don't really know what the next step is.

 

Also, her upper eyelids almost to the eyebrow are pink (red?) and it looks like she has makeup on. Does anyone know what this might be from?

Hi Susan:

 

As you know, my ds13 has been on alternative treatments (allopathic/natureopathic/homeopathic). He has been on abx but only 3 months max. at a time, then he goes on a homeopathic medication that basically does the same thing but is easier on the body. He did have a yeast infection when we first went to doc, but it has slowly just went away with treatment. Not sure where your daughter's yeast is, but son did have it quite some time on his privates, but now it is just gone. Doc said absolutely no external yeast cream (steriods) as it would irritate his lungs which were already bad. She treated with probiotics, I believe.

 

Every 3 mos. she switches her protocol with some of the treatment and so son has taken all kinds of probiotics in the 9 mos. of treatment so far. The only treatment that my son has been on since day one is thyroid meds/valtrex/viressence-quintessence cocktail. Everything else has been evolving and changing from appt. to appt. Son is presently doing the parasite/worming protocol again and then Alinia again (2nd time for both).

 

As others have pointed out on this forum, the ART muscle Energy testing is one of the most important components of Natureopathic treatment. It can accurately tell the doc. what your child needs at that moment in time. It is really hard to explain how it works, but it has been "right on" the entire time my son has been treated so far. I just say it is a bit "cosmic". You can read my threads to see what treatment has been given to my son, but your daughter's treatment may be different. I have spoken to a couple other patients that go to the same office and they are doing very similar treatments, but just at different times when their bodies are ready for it.

 

Also, mother's instinct is usually right on! Son's doc. believes that, so much so, that if I ask her questions about treatment, she follows up with testing because she has been taught never to ignore the mother's/father's intuition. It is usually correct. Last visit, asked about Alinia and he tested ready for it again. Go figure??!! Again "cosmic". lol

 

 

Also, on the colored eyelids, my son has had a purple chin a few times during treatment. It tends to go away in a couple of days.
