Addressing Immune Malfunction for Autistic Children Autism affects three major systems, nervous, digestive and immune system. This talk introduces an alternative approach to the immune malfunction with energy medicine, which is complementary to biomedical treatment for autism. Harry G. kimballot
I watched the recording of Dr. Bradstreet's presentation yesterday found at http://www.ustream.tv/recorded/14976060 Here are a couple of interesting notes I made: The video begins with Dr. Richard Frye, but Jeff Bradstreet starts about 25 minutes into the video. - Around 52 minutes he talks about quercetin, tryptophan, and 5 thp. Cautions against using quercetin and trypotphan in some kids - Around 1:15 he talks about PANDAS briefly, then goes on to talk about motrin, naproxen, curcumin, steroids, IVIG, spironolactone and other anti inflammatories

His handouts are here http://www.autismone.org/sites/default/files/Rossignol,%20Daniel%205-29%20Metabolic%20Abnormalities.pdf Do you know what he means by 400 - 800 mg/kg of IVIG (except for PANDAS). We've been doing 1 1/2 mg/kg, and that's a huge amount.

I think what he meant was .4-.8 g/kg for ASD and 1.5-2.0 g/kg for pandas...he threw you with the mg. Thank you for the link to the handouts!!!! SSS
Here is the archive video of Cunningham. I have no idea how long it will be available online. Thanks Vickie, your link made it easy to get through and watch, which I just finished. It was very sobering to me, and a bit frightening :-/ I hope the paper coming out makes the path easier in the future.
LNN
Is there a way to get a listing of videos that are available? I see a "recent videos" scroll bar, but only a few videos are listed. I'm struck by how many of the topics are "cross-overs" between Pandas, lyme and autism - brain chemistry, immunity, detox, inflammation...it's almost like its all the same thing...just a matter of degree. Its hard to tell which of the other presentation are worth watching for pandas related stuff....I started to watch the one on neuroinflamation, but my attention is waning..maybe later tonight I'll look at that one and let you know.
