smartyjones Posted April 2, 2011 Report Posted April 2, 2011 i've seen mention of cycles of bacteria and symptoms. was it a short cycle for some and 4 weeks for borrellia? would that mean a symptom flair every X weeks? is there anything with a 5 week cycle? i have a history of migraines. since being treated for TBI, i've been getting many. they seemed to increase at the same time i got a bartonella rash in dec. then subsided for a while but then came back weekly. the subsiding was 5 weeks. i just got one the other night and it had been 5 weeks since the last one. could this be in relation to some cycle? through my migraines, i have always tried to track it and it seems like there is some pattern -- menstrual, sleep, wine, food -- then it goes off track and seems not related to what i thought it was.
MichaelTampa Posted April 2, 2011 Report Posted April 2, 2011 Borrelia is supposedly 4 weeks, the other ones are shorts. Bart is something like 1 day, babesia 5-7 days. But Borrelia can be longer or shorter, perhaps the 5 weeks is still borrelia. It can track people's hormone cycle (men or women).
