need help on claritin/tics

Recommended Posts

All,

my son's tic have been great..

then 2 days ago..we stopped claritin..

then head tics at night(more than usual)..then this morning head tic.(which has not been for a long time)..he stops ticcing long time ago when he reads to himself..but this morning he ticced.

is this a withdrawl symptom?

should I wait a week to see the tics subside.

he is allergic to tree pollens..

all the tree pollens are gone..now it is grass/weeds..not so allergic to it..but sneezes..

would enzymes help..

he is on flaxseed oil already..plus probiotic..

no vitamins/nor mineral..

should I give back claritin

thanks all

strange..

my child's tic is better on monday, yesterday..I think pollen is still bad..

have not change blanket..his favorite..will not let me ..

woke up..no sneezing..

around may he was off for one week of school..he had potatoes..and he ticced..to the point we were alarmed..

then school comes..he is all better..even when he comes home..

it is almost something physical causing a change..potatoes/allergy then a psychological change..going back to school(he loves school)..makes it better..

anyone notice this...

Hi Daniel, its actually the opposite for my son, but other than recess, P.E. and math he can't stand school and would much rather be home with me, the dogs, Dad and his Star Wars toys! I can't wait for summer because I know his tics will lessen. I know my son is B6 deficient and that's a huge one for stress - when stressed he can't access his B's and hence the tics. By the way, thanks again for the histamine advice. Saw his DAN doctor today and really went down that path with him and we changed our course a little as a result - Thank you!

thanks Giselle,

great for the info on vitamin B..

believe me I am still learning a lot from u guys..

please keep me posted on your child's progress..

it will surely helps us all..

if you think about it..your son's situation is not the opposite from my son..

I think he is more stressed out when his daily routine are not performed..school..

is full of routines..and then come hoilidays, vacation..

he is more stress out about that..

so it is the same I think..

I am going to give my child more organ meats..yum..
