Blinking Tic and OCD in general

I am actually nearly word for word like the OP in this topic.

Recently I have been blinking really hard and frequently and I'm finding it very irritating and the more I notice it the more I do it and am constantly rubbing my eyes.

Current medication that I take is

BUDEPRION used for treating a depression.

I've read it may come from stress but theres so many other things it may come from. Its recently started out in fits so I had it for the past 3 hours and right now I'm able to control it but it doesn't last and I don't know when its going to start again.

A couple things I've noticed is that I am finding it difficult to read extra small print from a distance.

I also read about OCD relating to blinking tics but I don't think I have any and if I do I don't notice them and they clearly don't detrimentally effect me. I mean I wash my hands after coming home after going to the bathroom ect. I realise I wash my hands more than others but I think of it as a systematic hygiene awareness. And its not like I'm freaking out because I can't wash my hands.

I'm just not sure whats going on and really am just curious I'll probably go and see a doctor and maybe even an optician because I feel like my eye-sight is getting worse and this blinking is not helping. It feels like someone is throwing dust into my eyes or they are getting poked by needles.

I spend a lot of time on the computer 5 - 10 hours a day but thats what I've been doing for the past 2 years on a consistent basis and don't have any problems.

Any questions or suggestions?

Thanks!

Hi there

You don't mention whether you have ever suffered from tics before?

Before you start worrying too much I would visit the opticians to get your eyes checked out.

Also, the fact you are feeling discomfort in your eyes could indicate allergies.

Good luck
