Starting sea salt as an experiment

My husband just started this sea salt and lemon juice detox. I didn't pay much attention to it until a friend told me her sister in law used sea salt to help with her Lyme disease. She claimed it helped with the speed of recovery, joint pain and fatigue. I am going to try this with my son. He is so bad right now and we have 3 more weeks until our LLMD appt. It is natural, non toxic and what the heck! I will let you know how it goes over the next week.

There is actually a lyme disease protocol called salt/C, where sea salt and vitamin C is taken. I think it's better at the parasites than the lyme, but tackling parasites is part of treating lyme. Some take it at very high levels which can be dangerous (for the salt).

 

I haven't heard it used for what you're listing there, so looks like it helps with a few things. It does provide some minerals too, perhaps at least close to that "electrolyte" form. I take 1/4 tsp each morning.

That makes sense about the parasitic aspect. My son definately has bartonella, classic red stretch marks on his back, so I think that is definitely contributing to the fatigue and joint pain. The salt may help some. I keep reading more positive testimonials so we'll see. I think the lemon juice will help him as well. I have been to laid back on detoxing.
