Has anyone had Igenex covered by insurance?

Hello,

 

Just wondering if anyone has had the Igenex tests successfully covered by insurance? We have 2 so far for our family and are trying to budget accordingly. Both tests have already been done (just waiting on results) but now we have to actually figure out how to pay for the tests.

My UHC paid for 80% of ours. Good luck!

OMG, that is so awesome! Thank you for giving me hop that it is possible. I was kind of under the impression that it wasn't covered at all!!

I have heard that UHC is the ONLY insurance that covers it. I hope I am wrong since I have BCBS.

Cigna reimbursed us about 60%

Harvard Pilgrim Healthcare reimbursed 80% for both of us.

FYI - Igenex gives a 15% discount if you test more than one family member at the same time. Even if you've already sent in the samples, you can call and they'll give you the discount.
