Anyone see Oprah's show last Fri?

Anyone see this episode w/ the boy who had so much rage, frustration, long lasting outbursts, tics...he even tried to kill his mom? It broke my heart as I watched wondering if that would have or could have been in any of our futures if we hadn't found the idea that infection could trigger these and other bizarre behaviors. I know it's not a guarantee chronic infection is the root cause of this boy's issues but not once did the mom say she was ever steered in another direction of mental illness. And call it mental illness b/c the symptoms fit but it was sad to me that no one ever thought, what triggers metal illness? I think many people just settle w/ the thought it's just bad genes or bad luck because it's a scary/taboo topic. I realize you only get so much info in an hour's show and maybe he was tested for strep, Lyme, etc. but we all know how insensitive testing can be and how confusing this world can be without good support. Of course, as I watched in pain and a clenched my jaw, I couldn't just sit there and do nothing so I wrote to the Oprah Show. Will anyone read what I had to say or care? Not sure but couldn't just ignore what I saw either. I believe once you're in this chronic infection world, it's our job to pay it forward.

I didn't see it, but I know some of the PANDAS moms left comments on Oprah's site and at least one of them was removed.

I left a comment too. Any other creative ideas as to how we could get a message to the mother? I watched it last night and couldn't sleep. Maybe I am completely biased about the whole thing but there is no way that boy was just "mentally ill" something has to be causing it.
