smartyjones Posted February 4, 2011 Report Posted February 4, 2011 when people talk about the antinuclear antibodies tested by the cunningham test, is this the same that would show on a antinuclear antibodies test from Labcorp? what does this show? autoimmune process? thanks.
EAMom Posted February 4, 2011 Report Posted February 4, 2011 Here is some info the the ANA test. http://arthritis.about.com/od/diagnostic/a/ana.htm It is different from the Cunningham test. The article does mention that a small percentage of normal people will be ANA positive.
eljomom Posted February 4, 2011 Report Posted February 4, 2011 I think ANA's by cunningham are "anti-neuronal antibodies" and not antinuclear antibodies (ANA on Labcorp). I don't know what ANA's on Labcorp indicate...
