Well my daughter has a fractured ankle, but that is the least of my worries...So, she says she is hot, but her temp is 96 and her lips are purple...Anyone ever had this??

The purple lips make me think of not enough oxygen. My dd's cardiologist had me look for "blue" lips when she was younger. How does she feel otherwise? When did it start? I would ask the doc about it today.

PS.. Soooo sorry about the ankle too.....

My ds just had a bit of a flare where he was feeling a bit worse for 2 days and had a purple rash on his chin (along with red rashes on his hands and all-over itch). It went away within 3 days along with the worsening symptoms. Today he now has another purple one on his neck. They seem to only last a few days and then go away. Not sure if it is herxing?

sorry - i have no ideas for you. how did she fracture her ankle?

i broke my ankle a couple of years ago -- running -- i guess a stress fracture that i didn't know i had and ran on. yes, sad story -- it cracked about 50 feet from the finish line of a 5K i was running. a few months earlier, i had sore soles -- of course, i assumed plantar fascitis from running. it was very odd. i've never broken a bone before. i wasn't having any problems with that ankle until it hurt when i stepped down. i had no idea why it hurt so i continued running to finish the race. drs were concerned b/c it did seem wierd. i had many tests that didn't show any problems. i have wondered if it is somehow TBI related. but, i've never heard of bone fractures due to TBI.

how is she today?
