Question for those who have done multiple IVIGs

For those of you who have done multiple IVIGs, are there any blood tests that you do periodically (for ex - IgA levels) to make sure numbers are normal? My kids are going for bloodwork next week and before we proceed with any additional IVIG, I want to make sure we have checked anything that needs to be checked.

Hi Debbie,

I'm no expert but my children have had ivig 2x and were supposed to continue every 2 months had the insurance covered it. (sigh) We were never told that any specific bloodwork needed to be drawn before proceeding.

we do blood work every 3 months dont know exactly what shes looking for but she checks IGGs
