Johnsmom Posted November 11, 2010 Report Posted November 11, 2010 I'm asking our FORMER Family Practice doctor to run a few tests and sign off on the Igenex test. I asked for a C3D which if elevated can cause false negatives on testing. He wants to run a CH 50 instead which is more of a funtional test and a C3d is a complement test. AHHHHHHHHH!!! I'm not a doctor. SHould I post this over on the Lyme forum??? HMMMMM?
kim Posted November 11, 2010 Report Posted November 11, 2010 Johnsmom, Maybe you already know this, but I thought this was helpful "in a nut shell," type of way regarding the CH50. http://www.clinlabnavigator.com/Test-Interpretations/complement-profile-total-hemolytic-complement-ch50-c4-c3.html?letter=C
