smartyjones Posted October 25, 2010 Report Posted October 25, 2010 i just bought a little toothbrush sanitizer at bed, bath and beyond. it's a little pod that clips over the toothbrush. it has "thymol compound" which is says is non-toxic. it's claims 99% proven to kill enterococcus faecalis, strep mutans and lacto caseii. says it's effective for 90 days. anyone know anything about this? it's about $5 for 2. i was thinking along the lines of may or may not help, but shouldn't hurt.
lyme_mom Posted October 25, 2010 Report Posted October 25, 2010 They also sell a uv light wan that kills 99 percent of germs that I bought to clean suitcases after dragging them through airports and hotels. They never get cleaned which is kind of gross. It would clean a toothbrush without leaving any residue. They also sell a uv vacuum that is designed to suck up and kill distmites and other living things u dont want, even bed bugs. The person who did the mold check at our house told me about it. U clean mattresses and rugs with it.
kmom Posted October 25, 2010 Report Posted October 25, 2010 I bought the toothbrush sanitizer pods too! But after researching all the environmental triggers to neuropsych issues and trying to become more green, I get worried if it's a good or bad thing too!
