  1. This sight has a breakdown of each food, fruit. If you click on a food it will give you a breakdown of what vitamins each food contains. http://www.whfoods.com/foodstoc.php?PHPSES...49cc9b54727c2cc When my son became ill, I wanted to use as many natural vitamins as possible, this sight helps out with that. While Im at it this sight explains the benefits and any possible side effects to supplements. These sights may have been linked before, just in case they havent . http://www.supplementinfo.org/
  2. This page has quite a few links for natural products http://www.ecomall.com/biz/body.htm
  3. maybe you can get some answers here http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/DiseasesIndex/DiseasesIndex I have first hand experience with skin issues caused by alcohol. I would also consider a natural hand creme. Click on D for dry skin, the link isnt working properly You can check this sight as well http://www.shirleys-wellness-cafe.com/skin.htm
  4. I was under the impression that poor bowel movements were caused by a lack of friendly bacteria in the digestive system? I started giving my son yogurt with live cultures when he became constipated.
  5. I would also like to thank you for responses and wealth of info. Weve spent the last month trying to eliminate preservatives, colors, high fructose, and any other junk that doesnt need to be in food for it to taste good. Ive seen some immediate reactions to conveniet foods, almost drug like. Im going to use your tip about molbdenum and try and get my sun to eat some celerary. Thanks again, and hurry back
  6. Day 4 you started the day with cocoa pops instead of your regular cereal. Drank 1 extra energy drink, and less water.
  7. Hi Chemar, I wish i had known earlier the dangers involved. I cant help but wonder if things would have turned out differently. The multi was prescribed by his pediatrician. My wife kept renewing it over and over. This first thing i said to her when i realized something was wrong was to stop giving him the multi. What kind of doctors test for vitamin defficiencies. Which type of doctors show the best results? I wish i had 1/2 your knowledge and wisdom. The doctors we have seen to this point are useless. Im in NJ
  8. I read a little more on this. Flouride was reclassified as a poison. Why is it still put in Diet soda's, childrens formulas, kids cereal, toothpaste. Causes HYPERACTIVITY, a dificiency in Calcium/Magnesium, damages Enzymes, damages neurotransmitters, causes Cancer faster than any other chemical, the list goes on and on. Children have died from getting Flouride treatments in Dentists offices. If anyone wants to read for them selves do a search for Fluoride poisoning. Anyone notice some similarities? In 1995 a study was done to animals. Offspring of pregnant animals recieving relatively low doses of flouride showed permanent side effects to the brain which were seen as hyperactivity ( ADD-like symptoms).
  9. Thanks Jeff , we bought some pears but they were dried and i think drieing increases the sal content. It gets frustating some times. If we dont get some results soon ill get the feingold info. Ive found some supps for attention one was called ATTEND and the other was BRIGHT SPARK but i dont recall any one recommending them.
  10. Claire, my son is seven. I started the thread about tics and mold under the name arthur, guest. He had arm tics but has switched to a neck crunch tic. I thought it was from the way he was sleeping but now i realize its another tic. He has had regular testing& has been to the neurologist. Ive tried to keep sugar out of his diet along with preservatives and any other poison ( flouride, hair shampoo chemicals). Im trying to limit supps as much as possible so i dont stress him out to much. Ill introduce things slowly for that reason. Ive been on the computer as much as i can stand it, doing research. I did the spit test but nothing showed up (at home). I may try again. Im going to get primrose oil, and maybe a calcium/ magnesium sup.
  11. Thankyou very much for the responses and info. From what i gather from reading is, if i increase his raw veggy and fruit intake that will increase his enzymes naturally. Supplementing his enzymes will make that easier? Or should i disregard an increase in tics from fruit for the over all benefit that the fruit will ultimately bring? In other words cure the body and the body will cure the mind. After speaking with his teacher yesterday I find that he has difficulty focusing and taking instructions. He is very well behaved, tries to do well, but i think his inabillity to focus is causing him stress. Is this something that an Amino acid sup might help with? I just started giving him DHA Junior by Nordic naturals. And a good Multi. He seemed to get the runs from DHA im not sure if that was caused by the strawberry flavoring. Thats the reason for the Sal question. Thanks Again
  12. I found an article titled "Flouridation and the liquid of life". It is located on a website called IslamOnline (im not Islamic). The article states that Flouride destroys bones, teeth, blood vessels, and stomach lining. Causes infertility, poisoning with symptoms of headache or nausea. Adversely effects membrane bound enzymes and the transfer of calcium and Magnesium ions. Inhibits protein &DNA synthesis. Experiments have shown that 1-4 parts per million of sodium fluoride can have an adverse effect on the central nervous system and at 0.6 parts can disturb antibody production in the immune system. My son was on a multi vitamin that contained flouride for a lot of years . There are a lot of articles on this. One article called Flouride freind or foe says there is enough flouride in one tube of toothpaste to kill a 25lb child.
  13. I think my son is sensitive to food with salycitates but i cant find a list of foods containing sals. Im thinking of trying the feingold diet to take the guess work out of all this. Anyone have good experiance with this diet? Im wasting a lot of money on food and vitamins that contain sals.
  14. Thanks Chemar Ill look into the Natrol product. I guess they recommend the oil because Flaxseed w/o being ground up very fine does not get used by the body. Other things ive read suggest that a well balanced diet is made up of 75% alkalite food to 25% acidic. I think this ratio is important in preventing disease. Are all Sal. foods alkalite?
  15. I notice that there is a difference according to the Wolfe Clinic. Flaxseed is alkalite, Flax oil is acidic doe it matter which one is used?
