Advice on what strep tests to get done for parents

My husband is going to go get tested to see if he is a carrier, can someone please tell us what tests he needs to have done?

 

 

I'm having trouble remembering what the blood tests were called. Thank you for any help!

Don't know the answer, but I'm interested in the question! So just getting a throat swab and culture isn't enough?

Great, thank you! Do you know if being on antibiotics will affect the results? I need to have myself checked as well I would think, but I have been on antibiotics for months.
