The antigen shots have phenol

Jean posted to ask if the antigen shots that people give for dust molds etc.. had thimerisol/mercury in them. I remember Nancy also saying they made her child tic more.

I called my allergist (I take them) and they said theirs do not contain thimerisol, just sodium and PHENOLS.

With all the talk re Phenols (Salicylates are phenols), this may well be the trigger--not the antigens themselves. Go figure!!

Since it doesn't go through the digestive track, I don't think the no-fenol from Houston at the time of the shot would be a viable experiment, but I am no expert there.
