Re PANDAS. Your doctor is both correct and incorrect. For some people, they still carry the strep virus that started the whole PANDAS issues. For them, eliminating the strep via antibiotics DOES improve symptoms.

 

I have this gut feeling that your child may have yeast overgrowth. If you will search this site for saliva + yeast, you will see an at home spit test for a quick look. I suspect this because of the steroids (inhaler) and antiobitics. If this is the case, your son may well have developed food sensitivities too.... I am glad you are searching for a natural specialist.

 

What a relief that the head shaking occurred before the medicine!

To me, hair analysis can show two things, one is that you are eliminating these metals, or two that you are not eleminating them at all, and the body is holding onto them, that would be where you get very small readings. Both of these things are an issue, and I guess you would need someone experienced in looking at the patterns of the hair analysis, rather than the individual values to help you move in the right direction.
