Minocycline anyone?

Does or has anyone used minocycline as the antibiotic of choice or is it just me?

Do a forum search for minocycline and you'll find some previous threads about it. It seems to have a high incidence of side effects. Allie's never been on it, and when I've suggested it to her docs they've been too cautious to give it a try.

Why do I repeat the same mistakes twice.Ive already done minocycline with bad results,Im never sure if its the med or just the waning of symptoms.

Ill call Dr J and remind her of the bad results from minocycline.I dont see anyone with real bad reactions in my search just me .

Melanie, I just don't understand. If this Dr.J thinks this is inflammation related, why does she not give anti-inflammatory doses of IVIG?

I think that she believes she is. I showed her the article and she smiles says this is the correct dosage and be careful about what im reading and who I speak to(MDs).She thinks there are some serious information out here and shes concerned.Im still seeing Dr B thursday and Ill see what he says .Hows Allie doing? Dannys doing pretty good,some issues but pretty good.\
