saidie10 Posted June 25, 2010 Report Posted June 25, 2010 oldest sons DNase B is up to 480 from 314 two months ago (interesting since he was exposed and did have an exacerbation to strep from his brother!) i was glad there was a rise in this for him since I believe it is PANDAS. younger son whom I think is just in beginning stages of disorder is within normal range for both ASO and DNase. oldest son had a flag for the following: IgG, Sublass 2 was 71 and range of normal is 113-480. both boys had flags for the following: HNK1 (CD57) Panel. oldest son was the following: % CD8-/CD57+ Lymphs result 1 (range 2-17) Abs. CD8-CD57+ Lymphs result was 21 (range 60-360) youngest son was the following: % CD8-/CD57+ Lymphs result 1 (range 2-17) Abs. CD8-CD57+ Lymphs result was 32 (range 60-360) any thoughts on what these mean? doctor should call me this afternoon and I want to be prepared with questions, etc. Thanks!!!!!
justinekno Posted June 25, 2010 Report Posted June 25, 2010 I was always told that the CD57 isn't accurate when done on kids. Also, some doctors don't believe that the CD57 in general has much weight. One dr told me it can be normal for the numbers to be low bc there aren't that many natural killer cells in the body to begin with. Do you suspect Lyme? I just had this test done for myself bc of Lyme issues. I'm sure some of the Lyme experts on the board know better than I though. both boys had flags for the following: HNK1 (CD57) Panel. oldest son was the following: % CD8-/CD57+ Lymphs result 1 (range 2-17) Abs.
