He is with Cooke Childrens hospital. I've never seen Dr. Murphey but Cook's Children's is where I've gone for five years now for P.A.N.D.A.S. & for years before that for other things. It's a great hospital. I hope it goes well! <3

Just a quick note on the doctors. Dr. Goebel was the pediatrician used in our news story here. He can diagnose PANDAS but so far is not on board for treating with long term antibiotics. Therefore, I wouldn't recommend him for long term treatment.

So, if they can't get us treated I will be calling one of the drs yall have used on here. Keep us posted ! I am from Dallas(Plano) and there are quite a few of us on here from the area. I don't know anyone who sees the Doctors in FW- I use doctors on the list that the others have given you. We are still going to consult with Dr K to have a PANDAS expert on the team- it would be great to have one here in Texas- maybe enough of us will inspire someone to pick it up as a specialty!! Brandy
datagirl Posted June 26, 2010 Report Posted June 26, 2010 I am in Spring TX, with 3 boys too! Would like to form a support group in this area. Please let me know if you'd be interested in joining! I will be working with our new dr who diagnosed PANDAS - hopefully she will become an expert! Apparently we need it in the Houston area (amongst others!!).
