Question for Dr. T!

Dr. T,

 

I don't know if you had a chance to view any clips from the 20/20 show last night (if not, Vickie posted links to the clips under the topic header "Is anyone watching 20/20")...but, I would love to hear your opinion on this. After viewing the clips (when you have time)..could you tell me IF this could possibly be a presentation of PANDAS? Or, is it more likely this is a totally separate disorder??

I missed it, working really long hours these days ... will try to look at it soon and get back to you.

 

We need a similar 1 hr show - maybe FRONTLINE on PBS - devoted to PANDAS ....

I have to say I kept squinting at my TV to see if the kids had dilated pupils or showed any signs of tics! Most of them did not but there was one girl in there whose eyes did look like saucers to me.

She had dark eyes, though, so it was hard to tell...

 

Didn't sound like any of them had any real periods of relief, though. Probably also hard to tell what is going on when they're on so many meds at this point.
