OMG danny is so on the down slide right now I can hardly stand it.Last week was heaven this week is the other.He is soo ticcy and sensory and in his own head .Last week ,no tics very available and delightful.Hes not on antibiotics and his next IV is next friday.We are going to the MD monday Im going to give her the info on the higher IV dosage and see what she says.

 

Im so stressed again I feel so bad for him again..

 

I think I see the light and then it gets dark again

I like the good stuff much more then the bad

Really no, I have a sinus infection my husbands not feeling great either.I think hes got something,.The Dr will put him on an antibiotic monday,but she wants o see him,He has a cold and his skin is really dry?My skin sees real sensitive too. I dont know what that means.Under his nose mustache area is soooo dry,Hes sooo off right now .Im shocked .Its like completely the oppisite of last week.

I'm very surprised about the no to antibiotics as well. Can Dr T help you with that? He really needs to be on prophylactic antibiotics right now.

 

If his nose is dry, try to get to put a topical antibiotic on it to avoid cracks and infection.

With this weatherit's normal to have dry skin, but keeping a vaporizer or humidifier on helps a ton all around (skin, sinuses, etc.) But if he already has a rash, make sure it's not impetigo, that will certainly throw him off. My son was a mess when his sister had it in January.

Even if it's not impetigo, it's really important to keep their skin healthy. If their skin is dry/cracked, they are a sitting-duck for picking up an infection through the skin. My son has the hand-washing thing going (actually, it's pretty good right now), so we really need to make sure he keeps putting on lotion and sometimes we do cotton gloves at night, or else he'll get these really nasty cracks. Sometimes we use castor oil instead of lotion, it works well for the face too.
