Parents with high titers

dh just had his titers retested. He was recently positive for group B strep (negative for group A), took a round of antibiotics and went to get recultured a few weeks later. The cultures came back negative, but his titers, which were high when tested a few months ago, are even higher now. If the titers rose, does this mean he had group A strep recently but cultured negative? Have any of you had rising titers as parents of PANDAS children and what did you do?
