MomWithOCDSon Posted January 17, 2010 Report Posted January 17, 2010 Hes sitting here on the computer next to me complaining of leg cramps!!!Is it the steroids? The antibiotics? Melanie Just from our experience, it's not the abx. Don't have experience with steroids, but I suppose that's an option. How are his potassium levels? Got any bananas in the house? Seriously . . . our DS12 used to get leg "pains" a lot, and when he went to the ER with his first panic attack and had the million dollar work-up, they found his potassium levels were a bit low. So we're big on bananas around here now!
mom md Posted January 18, 2010 Report Posted January 18, 2010 My son has a lot of leg cramps. He always points behind his knees so it could also be joint pain. He said he has it so frequently he never even mentions it because he has gotten used to it. His potassium levels are OK but the leg cramps are wierd.
memom Posted January 18, 2010 Report Posted January 18, 2010 Melanie, Morgan had leg pain one day on last steroid burst when she was naturally on taper down but then also forgot to take one of her steroid doses (so too quick taper for 24 hours). Resolved after 6-8 hours. Ellie
