laurenjohnsonsmom Posted January 11, 2010 Report Posted January 11, 2010 We are a car ride away from her office (4-1/2 hours south of Betesda) but are planning on heading up tomorrow and spend the night somewhere near her office since our appointment is at 9 a.m. on Wednesday morning (can't trust DC traffic)! 30% chance of snow, tomorrow, none on Wednesday..I hate driving in snow! (You can tell I have lived in the south for too long)! Any suggestions as where to stay? Any chance there are some DC parents that want to connect on Tuesday night or Wednesday afternoon? I have met so many already! I love to put faces with names! LMK! I am well armed with approval request forms from our insurance company along with the supporting research and documentation to back it up! Wish us luck! Lynn
Kayanne Posted January 11, 2010 Report Posted January 11, 2010 I'm from PA...so I cannot give suggestions on where to stay...we did the three hour drive back and forth in one day....I just want to wish you the best of Luck. I hope Dr. Latimer is able to help Lauren...thank you for what you have done to bring attention to this disorder! ~Karen

smartyjones Posted January 11, 2010 Report Posted January 11, 2010 would LOVE to meet! i live in Annapolis, but grew up a little bit north of Bethesda so I know it well. although downtown has changed a bit since i was in high school but i can still find my way around! (like when my son asked me if they had baths when i was little!) wednesday would be better for me.
Ellen Posted January 11, 2010 Report Posted January 11, 2010 Yes, the Bethesda Marriott Suites, which is walking distance from Dr. Latimer's office. We stayed there and liked it very much. We got a very good rate too. Lynn, There is a Marriott about 1 mile away from her office: 6711 Democracy Boulevard, Bethesda - (301) 897-5600 Linda
