Augmentin XR is NOT the same as "regular" Augmentin

Important information for those using Augmentin as an antibiotic.

Apparently, taking four 500 mg tablets of Augmentin is NOT the same as taking two 1000 mg tablets of Augmentin XR

(I just want to bump this up as it seems really important to us!)

Interesting to note, as well, that Augmentin XR should be with food, but not high-fat food as that can decrease the absorption of the clav., which as we know is much less in the XR form.
