dcmom Posted December 14, 2009 Report Posted December 14, 2009 Right now I give dd probiotics at breakfast (alternate btween culturelle and florastor), and her antibiotic (zithromax) at dinner. Is there any reason I should reverse this? All is well right now, so I hate to change anything, but I was just thinking that I randomly selected this schedule...

It seems to be working.....
sf_mom Posted December 14, 2009 Report Posted December 14, 2009 I was instructed by Dr. K to give antibiotic in morning.... so, we give probiotic at night. I never really questioned why, sorry? So, we do the reverse.

We use florastore which I have been told is the only probiotic that can be given with the antibiotic. Just bringing this up because if one of your childen has stomach issues, you may want to talk to the doctor about giving the probiotic twice daily.
