Jean,

Can you please tell me if you give HMF to your son daily or is it for a particular duration? what has your doctor advised on this.

Can you please give me the link to the HMF product that you are using so that I can discuss on this with my naturopath during my visit in June first week?

thanks

Hi Efgh,

The reason that our ND gave my son HMF due to lack of beneficial flora in my son's body (found from CSA test). She said she would like to bring the one to the level. I don't think he needs to take it as regular basis. He is still taking it daily as he just had another round of anti-biotics 2 weeks ago. Have you had your son's CSA test result back yet? If his level is normal, he may not need it.

My son initially took the HMF Replete for a week, then he took the HMF forte caps. The one that he is having is from Genestra Brands. You can find the info. from the following link, but I got from my ND.

Hope this helps!

Jean pasting from the rockwellnutrition website...

For more intensive indications such as post-antibiotic therapy and Candida albicans overgrowth, use HMF Replete first for one week and then continue with HMF Forte capsules for 2-4 weeks.

Jean,

what is the dosage of the HMF replete and HMF forte that your son takes. My doctor suggested either this product of Klaire product for my son as a maintenance probiotic.

WHAT IS THE STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS OF THESE PROBIOTICS?

Do you keep it in the freezer?

does it come in a powder form or capsule form? how many capsules are there in one bottle and what is the validity period?

For how long have you been giving this to your son? Where do you buy them (online or drug stores?)

thanks and sorry for these questions.

Hi Efgh,

Our naturopath did exactly what you pasted. The replete comes with powder form and it needs to be kept in the refrigerator. The forte comes with capsule and it's not required to be put in the refrigerator, but we also did. It’s in one bottle. 60 caps per bottle. My son takes 2 caps, twice a day. He finished 1 week replete and 4 weeks caps after in April. Since he had another round of anti-biotics 2 weeks ago, he is taking the replete again this week. We got HMF replete and forte from our ND.
