Starting steroids, do I need to quarantine him?

Hi all,

A bit nervous about starting steroids in the middle of flu-season... Luckily it's already been through the house, so I guess we are "vaccinated", at least for that strain.

What precautions (if any) did you all take while on steroids? We are homeschooling, but we have some coop classes and sports, plus a busy social life.

How paranoid do I get?

Our ds only did the 5 day but we did TONS of hand sanitizer, especially when dd came out of school, on shopping carts etc. I also quizzed all our guests and didn't go within a mile of anyone I know had a live vaccine for flu. So far so good....
