ameecram
We have been seeing a DAN Doctor here in Madison for my 4 yr old son with tics. We have run food allergy tests as well as neurotransmitters tests. He has been very helpful, but I don't feel like we see him often enough. I did email him with some questions about 3 weeks ago and still have no response. I feel like we really need to find out more about what my son is deficient in or if heavy metals are a problem, and much more guidance on supplements. We are trying to figure out for ourselves what we should put our son on and really have no one to run it by. Should we see a naturopath as well, or someone else. Thank you so much! I just wanted to mention that Direct Labs has tests you can do on your own to see if he has deficiencies, so you don't have to wait on him. In fact you can do the following all on your own: ELISA/ACT (tests for foods, chemicals and molds) ---> https://www.directlabs.com/OrderTests/tabid...US/Default.aspx Test to see if he has amino acids/mineral deficiancies (I just ordered this one myself) ---> https://www.directlabs.com/OrderTests/tabid...US/Default.aspx Test for toxic metals ---> https://www.directlabs.com/OrderTests/tabid...US/Default.aspx For us the Elisa Act was good because we figured out his hypersensitivies (11 of them) Good luck Giulia
