thereishope Posted August 12, 2009 Report Posted August 12, 2009 Is anyone giving their kids Echinacea to try to prevent strep? Since my son is not on proph antibiotics, I am trying to find other ways to ward off strep.

Of course when you consider it was not a doctor who advised this....we just filed it away in our brains...not really sure if we believe it or not...we really haven't looked into it much... thereishope Posted August 12, 2009 Author Report Posted August 12, 2009 Thanks. I just looked it up. You're right. It caused flare ups in some autoimmune disorders. I don't know why I didn't think of looking that up first before posting. Thank you! That would have been a huge mistake.
