Mild Jerks - Sleep

Any one of you noticed some mild leg jerks when your kid sleeps? I realise that once in a while my son has a mild jerk in the leg (between the knee and the feet) when he sleeps. This is not the case when he is awake or not sleeping.. He is not aware of it but when I just touch his lower part of the leg, when he is sleeping , once in a while I have sensed his jerk ...

 

Jean, I cant recollect which post but I remember vaguely that in one of the posts you had mentioned something like this ..Not sure though.

 

ALL of you - Any thoughts or views on this?

I get that sometimes when I am falling asleep. From what I have read it is not indicative of any other problem, but maybe others here have found more to it.

Yes. It happens to my son sometimes during his sleep. I mentioned this to the Ped. Nuro., and he said it's not tic but some sort of "sleep disorder" (please don't quote it, I can't remember it exactly).
