I just went to a New doctor last week, he switched me to Effexor, he felt that comming off of Seroquel would not be wize to have Nothing to help me through it. also, due to the terrible side iffects I have had with the Seroquel, he wants to do a complete Blood screening for diabetis. so watch out for this! I have gained over 60 pounds since last November.. (Its now September 06')... ( I am 45 years old) I went from wearing a 11-12 size into now 18-20. I diddnt seem to matter how "little" I tried to eat or how carefull I was over the types of foods I ate.. I just kept gaining.. The itching has "subsided"... "Thank god"... but, I started having terrible chest pains.. so, really be carefull.. ! this drug is NUTS... Good Luck.. Dawna
