lfran
Hi all. In our last shipment of Bontech supplements, I noticed that the capsules were not a uniform color. Most are kind of whitish, but some are much yellower. This was not the case for the last couple of shipments I've received (we've only been ordering them since March or so), where they were all whitish. Has anyone else experienced this? Any comments or concerns? Thanks! -- Liane
Greyhound
Someone had this problem back in November. Apparently it's the lecithin - it can vary in colour. http://www.latitudes.org/forums/index.php?...topic=2811& By the way, are you in the UK? If so, about how long does it take to receive the supplements from Bontech after payment? If not, are there any UK Bontech users on here who know? lfran
Thanks! Sorry, no knowledge about the UK. Did you email/call the two Bontech supplliers to see if they will ship to the UK in an affordable fashion? -- Liane
lurker
Could be variation in the gelatin caps too -- different suppliers. If they are slightly yellowed, the powder inside would look discolored.
Greyhound
Did you email/call the two Bontech supplliers to see if they will ship to the UK in an affordable fashion? Two suppliers? I emailed Bonnie and she said 'Shipping is 25 to 35 dollars per monthly supply' which is quite a lot, but not impossible. Could be variation in the gelatin caps too -- different suppliers. If they are slightly yellowed, the powder inside would look discolored. They're not gelatin - they're vegetarian capsules.
lurker
What I meant by "suppliers" is manufacturers of the capsule coating. The compounder may have the freedom to use a a variety of capsules, based on availability, as long as they meet Bontech's standards. And you're right, they are veggie caps, not gelatin. Mail order or email?
