Hello,

The doctor you are speaking of is also our Doctor. We live in Orlando Florida. Is it the same? Metro West area? The office was planning a move our last appointment but they have not called me to tell me that they have moved yet. Our next appointment is in May.

I like Dr.Davis as well but after we did all the initial tests that you mentioned....they were all normal. (Just to mention...they stuck my daughter just about as many times! I will never get this child to EVER get her blood taken again)

She was so tramatized that by the time her MRI came due...they had to do it without the dye and without any sedation at all.

Anyhow back on Davis....he also ended up stating it was a tic disorder...wanted to medicate if it caused her issues at school.

Now we go back every 5 months or so to just update and to hear the same thing over again. I really would like some answers.

Our insurance does not pay for his visits nor did it pay for ANY of the tests he ordered. We are into the whole thing at this time for almost 10 thousand. So please check with your insurance....ours only covered inpatient and not any of diagnostic testing.

Also wanted to mention Dr. Davis started with a 20 min EEG, it came back abnormal....we then did the 24 hour one (had to spend the night there at the office) $5000 later...it came back normal and no one can explain why the first one was abnormal.

My next step is with Dr. Murphy...maybe we could do a road trip down there. Search her name on these boards.....interesting.

My daughter by the way started at age three as well. She is now 5. She probably started before this....alot of them start with toe crunching and adomen tensing and because of clothes and shoes...we as parents never see those tics. I noticed them and it was the eye blinking that set the alarm off for me.

One more thing....my daughters blood work to check for the pandas came out normal but since that test I have found these boards (THANK GOD FOR THAT) and now know that it doesn't mean she does not have pandas.

She was diagnosed with strep for the very first time the end of the week before last and was also on an antibiotic for the first time ever.

The tics slowed and then pretty much dissapeared. We had a rejoicing over here that i was too afraid to enjoy.

Needless to say they came back the day after the antibitoics stopped.

I made a call into Dr.Davis yesterday and missed the nurse today when she returned my call.

More confused than ever!!!!!!! if I can be of any help at all......please let me know...we may be neighbors!!!!
