CSP Posted January 24, 2008 Report Posted January 24, 2008 Hi all, I have two very yummy recipes if anyone in interested. These are cold salads; FUME' SALAD, slice very thin one large cabbage, slice 4 green onions very thin, 1/2 cup crushed uncooked chinese noodles (something like ramen noodles) I use TY LING Naturals (found at whole Foods) 2/3 cup raw sunflower seeds (could use slivered almonds) we say away from nuts, Dressing, 1 cup extra light olive oil, 6 tbsp apple cider vinegar, 3 tbsp raw honey, salt and pepper to taste, mix and pour over cabbage salad, stir well, I chill it so the uncooked noodles will get a little less hard. BROCCOLI SALAD, 6 cups fresh broccoli florets, 6 green onoins sliced, 1 c diced celery, 1 c red grapes cut in half, Dressing, 1 c mayo (I use Spectrum naturals) 1/3 c raw honey, 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar, mix well pour over broccoli salad, stir, Opt; cooked bacon crumbled, 1 c slivered almonds toasted. My kids love these salads. C.P.
Toms_Mom Posted January 24, 2008 Report Posted January 24, 2008 These sound delicious-esp the 'fume salad- it sounds similar to one I had at a party that I loved and never got the recipe for. Thanks for sharing. I love to get new recipes! Thanks, Mary
