Suggestions for PANDAS savvy/friendly Neurologist in WA

I know that it's probably something of an oxymoron but do any of you have any suggestions for PANDAS friendly neurologists in the Seattle area?

Yes, actually, Dr.Lauren Plawner in Bothell is PANS friendly and treats with IVIG.

I think I'm going to see Dr. Plawner this week. I'm so relived to hear she is PANS-friendly.

Any other suggestions for providers in the Seattle area for someone new to this journey??

Although PANS knowledgable, Dr.Plawner ended up passively dropping us as patients- would not follow through on what she said she would do and not returning phonecalls. I hope you have better luck than we did!

 

DR.Hatha Gbedawo treats PANS, she is in Seattle and is a Naturopath. She is very good and I highly recommend her. She does not however prescribe IVIG.

I'm disappointed to hear that. How disappointing. There are so few Seattle providers that are helpful.

I am trying to get in with Dr. Gbedawo.

Dr. Gbedawo is fabulous! The only one I've been able to find in the Seattle WA area to really pick up the ball and help with PANDAS symptoms. My son is 13 and major symptoms started late Nov. 2016. It took a little over 2 months to get into see Dr. Gbedawo, but it was worth the wait.
