Pseudo bulbar affect

Has anyone checked into this or the med nuedexta?

My son has used Nuedexta but he does not have pseudobulbar affect. It was given to modulate glutamate. He became less irritable when he was placed on it, but I am now tapering him off it to see if it truly was responsible for the change.
