Michel12
I am managing today and I think my mom is going to take me out to see a movie but on Thursday this week we are doing the IVIG so I will update everyone on how i'm feeling after that. I believe they said it would take a couple of weeks to see improvement. Thank you all for posting. I do see a therapist everyweek. But somehow still feel isolated being at home all the time and not knowing alot of other people who are going through this. Thats why I love this website so much. I have gotten some recomendations for some LLMD's before but I think because of cost effectiveness we were staying with our ped who was managing it but we will look into them again definitely. pr40
ivig is a cure for some people but not for most. I'd suggest that you think of your health long term and try to reduce inflammation through diet and life-style and supplements. hot baths or sauna, apparently, may also be helpful for some. bigmighty
If you are having IVIG tomorrow, start consuming extra liquids now! You will need about 5 oz of water or juice every 90 minutes beginning now and straight through the weekend. Otherwise, you'll have an overwhelming headache for days. searching_for_help
Thinking of you today. Hope the IVIG is effective in reducing some of your symptoms. Dd is still wanting to write you, but has had a very bad reaction to Prozac. Might be a bit before she feels well enough to write. Please keep us updated on how you are doing.
