Rachel
Why is it that some doctos say that you do not have an active virus because the IgM is in range? If you have high IgG values are the viruses still active? Is there research that explains this? If so, please pass on the research. I need to understand why a patient needs to be treated for them. The viruses listed in the topic tags are viruses that my son had high IgG levels. I am confused by this issue and need to be educated.
Rachel
I decided to do another search this morning on Mycoplasma Pneumonia and molecular mimicry. I found an interesting study on on high levels of IgG MP and a symptom it can causes. Thought it might be worth sharing. http://www.jidc.org/index.php/journal/article/view/21727645/
Rachel
Here is a good article that explains molecular mimicry and how it gets started. I have started doing searches with this word and other diseases. I'm coming up with some interesting articles. http://www.japi.org/march_2010/Article_05.pdf
Mayzoo
I will read them when I can. Thanks for posting them. My life is kinda hectic right now. Kiddo and hubby have sinus infections, I have gallbladder issues, and our AC broke (105 every day right now). Kiddo has many super high (10 times + ) virus load for the listed viruses in my siggie. Our Immuno rarely tests IGM, but he does test IGGs and he treats high IGGs. Right now, we are trying Buhner's herbal EBV antiviral program for kiddo.
