NancyD Posted October 1, 2013 Report Share Posted October 1, 2013 Topamax is supposed to help migraines but a lot of people complain of headaches particularly at low dose. Dedee Posted October 1, 2013 Report Share Posted October 1, 2013 I take Topamax for migraines as does my 14 y.o. son. I have not heard of it causing headaches. It has been wonderful for us. JoyBop Posted October 2, 2013 Report Share Posted October 2, 2013 I was prescribed topomax for headaches but could not tolerate the med for a minute. It made me so sick and exhausted I could not function. I was in the lowest dose and felt very drugged and loopy. Everyone reacts differently to medications. Good luck to you!!
