thereishope Posted September 19, 2013 Report Posted September 19, 2013 Thought I'd post an update on which states have submitted applications for an Awareness Day and who has been approved. If anyone is interested in still applying, you may be cutting it close for a STATE proclamation, but CITIES do them as well. The city proclamations get processed much quicker, sometimes as fast as 24 hours. In case my photo doesn't come up... airial95 Posted September 19, 2013 Report Posted September 19, 2013 In addition to cities - Counties also issue proclamations! I'm working with one of my County Commissioners now to get it declared in Hillsborough County FL
PowPow Posted September 19, 2013 Report Posted September 19, 2013 What does an awareness day do? (excuse the terrible grammar-I am not sure how else to word that!)
