Is there inflammation with viruses too?

I know people give motrin for PANDAS inflammation and Lyme (I think) and I was wondering if there is inflammation with viruses too and does motrin help? Thanks!

Has anyone tried steroids on her? I am reading your tag line & the symptoms sound so familiar, though ours was a sudden onset. steroids were life-changing, not permanent, but enough to illuminate the right path for treatment

 

& yes, she was postive for lyme & babesia, also. We STILL did the steroids (after lyme tx).

We tried steroids and she was so aggressive on them. I pushed through the whole treatment. It was horrible! We also so nothing good come after treatment.
