AD's that don't cause weight gain or sugar cravings

I've been on zoloft for a year and it's caused about 30 lbs of weight gain.

Recently I tried pamelor and all the sugar obsessions and cravings vanished and I was eating healthy and normal, however I could not sleep and had major next day sedation.

Then I tried luvox and had very weird side effects but no cravings, until last night returning to zoloft I am shaking craving sugar and carbs and crappy food. My psychiatrist has been working w/ me for 7 + yrs and he doesn't know what to do anymore even though he's brilliant so he just said to wean off it BUT WITHOUT REPLACEMENT?

Anyways, does anyone know of any AD's that don't cause these cravings and may be "weight neutral"? I heard SNRI's are better and one called "stablon" that is only approved in Europe or France is very low on side effects and very effective for MDD and CFS.

I have tried most everything but was shocked at the difference b/w pamelor and zoloft with the sugar cravings.

Just wanted to have some ideas when I call psych. back.

Also, sugar and carb cravings indicate yeast overgrowth- and giving in and keep eating it creates a vicious cycle.

Are you on a good probiotic?

If you can get the yeast down, the sugar and carb cravings stop.

I've never tried Celexa or Effexor. I'm just looking for something to "sustain" me at this point b/c my psychiatrist just doesn't have anything else to try besides those 2.

I read that Effexor is good for POTS syndrome so that may be something to look into and actually leans towards weight loss.
