trintiybella
Finally...we have some hope. Started our girl on vancomycen, and we were able to pull her away from the computer. She was "stuck" in front of the computer all her life. If you took it away she would be so agitated and confused that her agression was over the top. She would just spin and have racing thoughts and bump into things. Anyway...vanco. is helping. We were still left with NEVER being able to fall asleep and NEVER pooping. Well, amazingly I threw in some walnut oil for parasites (the one thing I never treated for) and she started pooping and sleep looks a bit better. Ugh...it's been a long 13 years. Ok, so she has clostridia, parasites, and I think herpes virus, since i have been giving high doses of lysine and she stopped hallucinating. She also broke out in tons of ingrown pimples. So I am thinking she had the herpes virus. I know all of these things are opportunistic and are usually the cause of something bigger going on. I am thinking it's the bartonella. My question is, could she have been damaged by the hep. B vaccine at birth? Or is the hep. B. Virus considered opportunistic too. I am looking for the main culprit in all this, because if I don't treat it...the clostridia will keep coming back, right. Any suggestions? I have done Andy chelation for two years and didn't see any progress, I thing becasue clostridia is so bad. I could use some help. Thanks

T_Anna
A pediatric neurologist at Columbia Presbyterian in NY told his wife (a close friend) that he has only seen PANDAS in the zoo : ( T.Anna

I hope the tide is turning -- with the increase of evidence-based outcomes (ie., kids getting their lives back.)
Cleopatra
My dd was addicted to the PC and would get violent if you tried to get her off. That was one of many extreme symptoms. She has been cured of that and most other things since getting IVIg treatment.
sf_mom
Nice to read you are making progress!!!! I just wanted to mention that parasites can take a very long time to treat due to larva so I would keep at it and rotate remedies every 12 weeks (herbals or other) for at least a year. The pimples points to a detox issues, at least that is our LLMDs perspective. If you haven't tested her for methylation issues, vitamin deficiencies or done genetic testing you might consider it to help her body eliminate toxins. As well as, herbals or binders to also support detox. Here is a lab for vitamin deficiency that we've used. http://www.spectracell.com/patients/our-tests/patient-micronutrient-testing/ I thought this website was interesting as you are able to order many of the test kits spoken about on this forum with Dr. orders included and results are provided to you directly. It saves you the Dr. visit but they are charging you for kit, testing and Dr. order. I think this is a good avenue for those that need specific testing and can not find Dr. to write script or carry specific test kits in their offices.........like comprehensive stool analysis, vitamin deficiencies, yeast testing both blood and stool, parasite testing, etc. http://www.integrativepsychiatry.net Edited May 25, 2013 by SF Mom
