landamom
Hi all, we have our first appointment with Dr. Jones in Ct tomorrow. We've waited months 4 months for this. Three feet of snow will not stop me I was wondering if any of you who have seen him already have any suggestions you can share? Dr. B works with him so I am assuming ng he knows enough about PANDAS too. Thank you!

KaraM
If you need to stay overnight...Yale new haven suites are walking distance, really nice and only $99. They are only for people there for medical reasons.
ptcgirl
KaraM thank you for sharing that! Landsmom, Dr jones is extremely kind and patient. He will answer any questions that you may have. He is the only dr I've ever been to that we didn't feel rushed. Expect bloodwork to be taken right away. Lots of it! Teri
Good luck - will be thinking of you tomorrow . We have an appt next month - a five month wait. I read a response to expect lots of bloodwork. Does anyone know if its through IGenex? Want to be prepared - financially that is. We were shocked by $900 worth of bloodwork we needed to do back in August @ Dr.B's. wondering if we should expect that again?
Hopeny
He does igenex but for the Lyme wb you can request stony brook who does a pretty good job on the western blook and takes insurance. That will save you 200. We got part of igenex back from insurance co but not all. It's good advice on the hotel to stay somewhere with a referral
