kimballot Posted September 10, 2012 Report Posted September 10, 2012 JAG - I am ROLLING with laughter. I think you need to write this up and submit it to your local paper as an opinion letter. The CHAPLAIN!?! A full TRAUMA team!?!
Dedee Posted September 10, 2012 Report Posted September 10, 2012 Yep, (take it from a nurse) a trauma center is much more DRAMA than trauma. Crazy isn't it????
bulldog24 Posted September 10, 2012 Report Posted September 10, 2012 Thank God we all go AMA!!! I think that saves our kids in the end. WHat a story. I am so glad she is ok. Plastic surgeon for a cut in between toes? Ummm.thats not really needed. Who is going to be looking at that? Geez
JAG10 Posted September 10, 2012 Author Report Posted September 10, 2012 I think all ER kids with stitches are referred to this plastic surgeon who consulted with the doc who did the stitching Friday night. He might be looking from a properly healing point of view. My older dd12 had a nasty gash under her chin from falling out of a wagon 2 years ago and we saw this same doc, so I already know him. He will be the one who removes the stitches. I had to have doc fax script to school for ibuprofen.....more over the top CYA.
