beeskneesmommy Posted September 1, 2012 Report Posted September 1, 2012 Looking at IVig very quickly w/Dr. Latimer. Has anyone had it administered in her new office recently? I have not had the best of communication and I am trying to get a picture of the actual room setting, treatment of the patient by staff, etc. I would love to hear from those that are in the know please, as I have another, more expensive choice as well. Thanks!
mom md Posted September 4, 2012 Report Posted September 4, 2012 My sister in law just returned from there and had nothing but positive reviews. She said the nurse was wonderful and her son tried to pull his IV out for two days and screamed, cried, bit, etc and she never lost her cool. Very professional and sweet to him the whole time. He was so disruptive Dr. Latimer was in there a lot and was hands on the whole time.
PowPow Posted September 4, 2012 Report Posted September 4, 2012 did the Infusion company take insurance? I may be looking at this for one of mine shortly
DeterminedMomVA Posted September 4, 2012 Report Posted September 4, 2012 As of a few months ago the infusion company was MedPro. They take some insurance, but my insurance company does not have them as a preferred provider, so they don't take mine. . MedPro was very good about contacting my insurance company, getting back to me with thorough information, and letting me know the cost up front.
kos_mom Posted September 4, 2012 Report Posted September 4, 2012 Insurance a problem for us through Dr. L's office--we were to have home IVIG last week but still are having insurance tussles.
